Capt Craig F Poirier began his career in law enforcement in 1985 graduating from the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Academy. During his career he worked numerous investigative assignments, including accidents, and thefts. He was an active member of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IATI) for several years before turning towards marine related assignments. Capt. Poirier possesses a Masters Degree in Administration from Western New England College, and is a Master Marine Surveyor, receiving a certification from NAVTECH U.S. Surveyors Association in 2002. Capt. Poirier also maintains a 100ton Master license with a Commercial assistance Tow endorsement from the United States Coast Guard. Capt. Poirier started C&R Marine Surveyors in 2002 and joined the International Association of Marine Investigators the same year. Poirier currently works as a marine surveyor for C&R Marine Surveyors, and is the owner/operator of the F/V Island Girl Charters based in Newburyport, Ma. |
