Herb resides in Fruit Cove, Florida, with his wife and son.

Retired after 23 years in Law Enforcement, in Springfield, Massachusetts. Herb spent the last eight years of service as Commander of Arson and Bomb Unit.

Hired with USF&G Insurance Co. SIU to operate fraud unit in Raleigh N.C.

Transferred to Jacksonville.

Herb completed five years in SIU with St. Paul Fire & Marine Ins. Co. He also worked for SEA Limited as Fire Investigator for Northeast Florida. Currently runs STARR Investigations, Jacksonville, Florida.
